Registered Nurse – Orthopedic (Medical-Surgical)

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
- Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
- Work a minimum of half of scheduled shifts on weekends as part of the rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (State or Compact) – must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Ability to meet onboarding and compliance requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
