Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications and adhere to all clinical compliance standards
- Complete onboarding modules onsite during orientation within the required timeframe
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted
- Valid ACLS certification
- Valid BLS certification
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility as staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Medical Surgical setting
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
