Job Title
Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts per week | Rotating schedule including weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech language pathology services within an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Perform and interpret Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- Document patient care and progress using the EPIC EMR system
- Participate in a rotating weekend-heavy schedule as part of a collaborative therapy team
- Float between acute care and inpatient rehabilitation areas as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to practice in the state of Alaska
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP
- Must complete state of Alaska required fingerprinting and background check submitted through NABCS; traveler must be in provisional or cleared status prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Credentialed in both FEES and MBSS procedures
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced hospital environment
