Intensive Care Registered Nurse

Contract | Days | 3×12-hour shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) | Onsite | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the ICU
- Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care
- Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in clinical practice while treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect
- Remain flexible to changing systems and maintain performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit
- Maintain compliance with all HIPAA and applicable confidentiality regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California
- BLS Certification per American Heart Association guidelines required (no other cards accepted)
- ACLS Certification required
- PALS Certification required (or must obtain within six months of hire)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Basic computer skills; EPIC experience required
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN certification encouraged
- Completion of an approved ICU training course inclusive of didactic and clinical experiences
