Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry unit based on facility need and traveler skill set
- Monitor and manage patients requiring step-down or telemetry-level care
- Float within skill set to other units onsite or to additional sites within the area as needed
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med/Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care experience
- RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment required
- Travel nursing experience preferred for this assignment
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to float onsite or to locations within approximately 40 miles as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step Down setting
- Experience working across both PCU and Med/Surg/Telemetry units
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition between units based on census and acuity needs
