Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing intervention
- Float as needed to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units
- Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon submission
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Requested time off (RTO) must be 7 days or fewer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to step-down, medical-surgical, or telemetry units
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity environments
- Familiarity with ICU-specific equipment, protocols, and documentation systems
