Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and appropriate interventions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to promote patient health and safety
- Coordinate care delivery across disciplines, collaborating with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and delegate duties to assigned nursing staff using professional judgment and critical thinking
- Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team members
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in perioperative, PACU, or endoscopy nursing
- Experience in an outpatient procedure unit setting
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
