Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic / Spine

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit within a large acute care hospital setting
- Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury management
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:5 on day shift (ratios may vary by unit and are not guaranteed)
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Demonstrate flexibility, including willingness to float to other units as needed
- Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
- Experience in a Magnet-designated hospital environment
