Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Every-other weekend required | Occasional holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 125–140 patients per day across 33 beds and 2 trauma bays
- Manage a patient ratio of 3–4:1, caring for acutely ill and injured patients including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and ACS presentations
- Operate within a fast-track environment supported by ED technicians, security, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and IV team available around the clock
- Perform lab draws and utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Care for patients requiring ventilator management within the ED setting
- Collaborate with ED physicians and mid-level providers, as well as charge nurses available 24/7
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
- Required certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS
- Must have completed at least one previous travel nursing assignment
- Candidates must not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity emergency presentations including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and ACS
- Familiarity with Epic EMR in an emergency department setting
- Experience managing ventilated patients in an ED or acute care environment
