Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee (or Compact RN license)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Med Surg setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
