X-Ray / Radiology Technologist

Contract | Evening Shift (4×10 Hours, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | No Call or Holiday Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging using GE and Shimadzu X-ray rooms as well as Carestream portable units
- Operate and navigate imaging systems including Epic, Syngo, and AGFA EI PACS
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and quality in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and patient safety standards
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
Required Qualifications
- Active, permanent Ohio X-Ray / Radiology Technologist license required at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in X-Ray / Radiology Technology prior to travel
- All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
- One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the applicable specialty is required for submission
- Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually (applies to all travelers except Nurses and CSTs)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Epic, Syngo, and AGFA EI PACS systems
- Experience operating GE and Shimadzu X-ray equipment as well as Carestream portable units
- Background in an acute care or hospital-based radiology setting
