Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 24/7 emergency department setting
- Assess and triage patients presenting with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialty teams including cardiology, neuroscience, radiology, anesthesiology, and surgery
- Adhere to facility attendance and scheduling standards; a strict attendance policy is in effect — three instances of unexcused absence or tardiness of more than 20 minutes may result in immediate contract termination
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
- Must reside more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard contract rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with health system-wide profile and compliance standards
