Job Title
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)

Las Vegas, NM | Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 10-Hour Evening Shifts, 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Expected 40 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in an inpatient hospital setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient mental health status and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following psychiatric nursing protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid and in good standing
- Psychiatric nursing experience is required
- All candidates are subject to a clinical interview; availability for scheduling must be provided upon submission
- Must be available to arrive a few days prior to start date to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements
- Must have Social Security card available for onboarding
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting
- Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and behavioral health interventions
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment team environment
