Job Title
Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech – Ortho/Neuro/Spine

Contract (13 Weeks) | Rotating / Variable Days | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down operative suites, review case carts to confirm all necessary supplies are available prior to procedures
- Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties in a high-volume OR environment averaging 40–60 cases per day across 21 operating rooms
- Perform efficient room turnovers to support multiple procedures throughout the day
- Provide on-call coverage including 6–8 weeknight call shifts and 1–2 weekend call shifts during the 13-week contract; must be available and present in the OR within 30 minutes of being called
- May be required to float to satellite facilities as needed
- Assist with downtime tasks as needed and support the onboarding of new hires
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
- Active CST certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the operating room required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Strong proficiency in Ortho, Neuro, and Spine required; must be comfortable with complex spine, neuro, and craniotomy cases, as well as total joint procedures
- Personal vehicle required due to on-call responsibilities; must be able to respond independently within 30 minutes
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, or GI is a plus
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable managing change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to assist with training and mentoring of new staff
