Job Title
Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (IR)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Support and assist with procedures including biopsies, bleeds, tubes, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and port placements
- Administer and manage cardiac and heparin drips and titrations intraprocedurally
- Perform sedation and patient monitoring throughout IR procedures
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications including BLS and ACLS
- Participate in holiday coverage as required unless the unit is closed (expected 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays)
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN license required
- AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- Minimum 15 months of interventional vascular experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
- Intraprocedural experience in an IR setting required
- Sedation and monitoring experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Work history must reflect 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience
- Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
- First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 12 months of IR experience
