Registered Nurse – ICU/CCU

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Weekend rotation required | Holiday availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care/CCU setting, monitoring and managing acutely ill patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license (state or compact) — must be in-hand prior to start; pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience required
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- Valid driver’s license required and must be included with submission
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred; charting proficiency required
- Completion of required non-billable facility modules (pre-start and annually) required for clearance
- Candidates within an 80-mile radius of the facility are welcome to apply at the local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN, CMSRN, or RN-BC certification preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech Expanse charting system
- Familiarity with critical care protocols and high-acuity patient management
