Job Title
Travel RN – Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected Start: November 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including central line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations
- Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic equipment including PA catheters, IABP, and Impella devices
- Manage and monitor patients utilizing Hill-Rom beds and Philips telemetry systems
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Float to other units as needed based on census demands; expected 3–4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Cardiac experience required
- Strong critical care experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PA catheter management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with IABP and Impella devices
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Familiarity with cardiogenic shock patient populations
