Job Title
Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio across 5 ORs (3 open, 2 hybrid)
- Assist with and support complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular procedures, and heart transplants
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including CSTs, ATs, and PCTs on day shift
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Float to Spine OR as needed per unit guidelines
- Adhere to on-call protocol, including a 45-minute response time from phone call to clocking into the unit when applicable
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license (must be valid for the state of Texas)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience
- Strong CV surgical background; candidates without CVOR experience will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification preferred; candidates holding this credential will be given priority consideration
- Experience with hybrid OR procedures and advanced cardiovascular surgical cases
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
