Job Title
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy / GI (Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-site | Call required 1–2 days per week (no weekend call)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 2-procedure-room endoscopy unit at a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP
- Operate and maintain GI equipment and scopes in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient care and clinical information using Meditech EMR
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, expected 1–2 days per week (weekdays only)
- Collaborate with a small, experienced team of RNs and technicians to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact license eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience — candidates without endoscopy experience will not be considered
- Familiarity with GI equipment and endoscopic scopes
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations on weekdays as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Exposure to ERCP procedures
- Flexible, adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced procedural environment
