Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Orangeburg, SC | Acute Care Hospital
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5–6
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Rotate every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units, as required
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the assignment
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome
- Telemetry competency required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered under standard placement; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH stroke scale certification preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
