Registered Nurse – Medical Step-Down

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals meeting Medical Step-Down level of care criteria
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in acuity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association ONLY
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association ONLY
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association
- 2 or more years of critical care or step-down nursing experience
