Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and recognize cardiac dysrhythmias and respond appropriately
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and quality outcomes
- Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications and apply skills as required in clinical situations
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact equivalent
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias
- Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
