Travel RN – ICU
Location

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected every other weekend shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care in a 26-bed ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS
- Assist with or support procedures such as intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to CVIMCU and IMCU as needed
- Maintain ACLS and BCLS certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Texas (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred; willingness to learn required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cardiovascular ICU (CV ICU) experience
- Neuro ICU experience
- Familiarity with ECMO, IABP, or Impella device management
