Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Pediatric

Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a General Pediatrics setting, ensuring age-appropriate and evidence-based nursing interventions
- Float to specialty areas including Cardiac Acute Care Unit, Transplant Step-Up, Pediatric Oncology, and Critical Intermediate care units as needed
- Float to sister campuses within the local area as operationally required
- Administer medications accurately and successfully complete a required medication competency assessment prior to patient care activities
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the facility’s electronic medical records system
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including nicotine-free campus requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — license must be in hand at time of submission; candidates without a license in hand will not be considered
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric nursing experience required
- Prior experience in a pediatric facility setting required
- Minimal to no requested time off; any RTO dates must be submitted at the time of application
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree preferred, though not required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Experience in pediatric specialty areas such as oncology, cardiac, or critical intermediate care
