Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–6 on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed, including to the Stepdown unit
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Participate in holiday coverage, with an expectation to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in Illinois and Iowa (or eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission
- Must have a taxable home address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Stepdown or cardiac experience preferred, as floating to the Stepdown unit may be required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
