CT Technologist (Nights) – Contract

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, ensure comfort, obtain relevant medical histories, and monitor patients throughout the scan
- Set up and operate CT scanners, maneuver equipment, and adjust technical parameters to achieve optimal image quality
- Administer contrast dye intravenously or orally to enhance visualization of specific body areas
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols, including the use of appropriate shielding devices to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate closely with radiologists to confirm image quality and assist in emergency and trauma situations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT certification required
- Applicants residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered under a modified local rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a regional referral center or high-volume acute care environment
- Familiarity with trauma and emergency imaging protocols
