Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care within the cardiovascular lab environment
- Communicate continuously with the physician regarding patient condition throughout procedures
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
- Continuously monitor and record patient condition while in the Cardiovascular Lab
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met
- Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory, and assess procedure room and equipment functioning and readiness; participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
Required Qualifications
- Active state RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current ACLS certification required upon start and must be maintained
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work, or in a Critical Care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN preferred
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology lab setting
