Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses or issues, and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement identified plans of care and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team in the conduct of nursing practice
- Comply with policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke, including required cerebrovascular disease education
- Systematically evaluate and enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice in alignment with professional standards, statutes, and regulations
- Integrate research findings into practice and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- American Heart Association ACLS Certification
- American Heart Association PALS Certification
- Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Experience working in a high-acuity or intensive care environment
- Strong emotional intelligence with demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
