Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Onsite | Expected 32 hours/week | Every other weekend required | No call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to an adult inpatient population on a medical/surgical floor
- Deliver care addressing neuro, orthopedic, and general diagnoses
- Document patient care using Meditech EHR (transition to EPIC anticipated during assignment period)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress and discharge planning
- Optional opportunity to float to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) for interested and qualified clinicians — not required
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Experience with adult patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Adult inpatient and/or acute rehabilitation unit (ARU) experience
- ICU experience is a bonus but not required
- Familiarity with neuro, orthopedic, and general medical diagnoses
