Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every other weekend required | PRN — hours vary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute care physical therapy services across a whole-house setting within a community hospital environment
- Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including orthopedics, stroke, amputation, vestibular disorders, and age-related conditions
- Document patient care and progress using Epic EHR
- Participate in every-other-weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
- Potential to float to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) as needed
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience, with adult inpatient PT experience required
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Acute care physical therapy experience strongly preferred
- Experience treating orthopedic, stroke, amputee, vestibular, and geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with Epic EHR
- Flexible, conscientious, and demonstrates clear communication skills
