Key Responsibilities
- Manage a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic, overseeing daily operations, department expenses, and revenue optimization
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans for patients
- Support medical staff and participate in interdisciplinary team functions while promoting a collaborative team atmosphere
- Coordinate an orthopedic specialty field clinic, including screening and prioritizing referrals
- Ensure compliance with all corporate, state, and federal governing body guidelines applicable to physical therapy practice
- Collaborate with corporate teams to develop and refine administrative processes and support professional development of department staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Minimum of four (4) years of active, full-time patient care experience
- Current, valid Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Alaska
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and physical therapy modalities including hi-lo tables, therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments or with diverse patient populations, including those for whom English may not be a primary language
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for reporting, data tracking, and presentations
