Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective perioperative care
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols within the OR environment
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — any licensing history or hits must be disclosed at time of submission
- CVOR specialty experience required
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license required — a copy must be provided at time of submission
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience in a CVOR setting
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and equipment
- Strong communication and adaptability skills in fast-paced OR environments
