Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services within an acute care rehab unit serving PT, OT, and Speech patients across a 7-day-a-week coverage model
- Treat a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neurological, and med-surg cases within a stroke-certified facility
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR
- Participate in weekend rotation (expected every 3rd weekend, with potential for every other weekend)
- Participate in holiday rotation shared across all modalities
- Work within a team-led structure; a PT team leader is available when the manager is not on site
Required Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience treating stroke, neurological, orthopedic, or cardiac patient populations in an acute care setting
- Familiarity with ICU and med-surg patient care environments
