MRI Technologist

Contract | Nights | 4×10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Thursday | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging studies on inpatient populations during overnight hours
- Collaborate with a second technologist to manage pending inpatient exam queues
- Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and protocol adherence throughout each shift
- Complete required pre-start and annual specialty-specific training modules
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, including a strict no call-in policy
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(MR) certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation available — failure may result in cancellation)
- 2 professional references from a direct supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or director required at time of submission
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume inpatient or acute care MRI environment
- Comfort working overnight shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record and imaging systems
