Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite | No block scheduling or special scheduling requests accommodated; scheduling is based on department needs
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and appropriate interventions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to promote patient health and safety
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care
- Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team members
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking and independent judgment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor — required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification — required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification — required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required; 3 or more years preferred
- Recent EPIC experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility background
- 3 or more years of Emergency Room experience
