Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend required | Major holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level acuity care
- Administer and manage high-acuity IV drips and vasoactive medications as indicated
- Rotate float assignments to lesser acuity units as needed based on census
- Participate in orientation including system-wide and unit-specific clinical orientation days
- Adhere to facility nicotine-free policy at all times
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of PCU / Progressive Care RN experience required; new graduates not eligible
- Active Missouri RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing high-acuity drips
- Arterial line experience
- BiPAP / Airvo experience
