Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients and tracheostomy care — experience in these areas is required
- Utilize Meditech for electronic charting and documentation
- Float to Med/Surg unit as needed based on staffing requirements
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
- May be required to float to a sister facility located nearby
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or relevant RN experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Demonstrated experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech charting system
- Experience floating between Telemetry and Med/Surg units
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and documentation processes
