Registered Nurse – ICU (Medical-Surgical ICU)

Contract | Nights | 4×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic electronic health records
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with ICU protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license – State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
