Job Title
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room / Med Surg

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7p–7a) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a combined ER and Med Surg setting, floating between departments as census and acuity require
- Manage a patient assignment that may include both ER and Med Surg patients; expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1–3:4 depending on ER volume
- Administer and monitor common drips including heparin, cardizem, nitroglycerin, norepinephrine, and protonix
- Perform independent respiratory therapy tasks including breathing treatments, EKG interpretation, and operation of ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAT equipment
- Fill in as charge nurse when no permanent RN is staffed on shift
- Float to all unit areas including Med Surg, ER, Pediatrics, and Swing Bed as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travel nurses are highly preferred
- Strong time management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Comfort and confidence floating between ER and Med Surg environments
- Experience reading cardiac monitor strips independently and operating GE EKG and Mindray vital sign equipment
