Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities in critical care areas, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care
- Work under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager
- Deliver respiratory therapy services across a regional referral center supporting a wide range of specialties
- Train respiratory therapy personnel in critical care areas
- Maintain active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
- NICU experience required
- Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license required
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required; college diploma or official transcript required
- NRP certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- ACLS (AHA) certification required
- PALS (AHA) certification required
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated at this time
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard travel rate; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a regional referral center or similarly sized acute care environment
- Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric critical care protocols
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or willingness to obtain
