Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating the ability to make sound independent clinical decisions
- Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to revise plans as indicated
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
- Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and services provided during their stay and at discharge
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor while fostering teamwork and a culture of safety
- Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts; comply with regulatory standards and contribute to the Practice Governance model
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience
