Job Title
Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Birth Care unit during night shift, supporting a patient ratio of 3–4:1 for postpartum couplets and 1–2:1 for labor patients
- Perform and assist with labor and delivery procedures including inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
- Circulate and support C-section procedures in the operative setting
- Utilize unit equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring, and Monica Novii telemetry
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Adhere to ICARE standards of behavior as required by facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
- Active RN licensure applicable to the state of Kansas
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Postpartum nursing experience
- High-risk LDR (Labor, Delivery, and Recovery) experience
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment
