Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 24-hour rotational coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be available

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver modalities of respiratory therapy to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide emergent and intensive respiratory care as needed
• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures
• Participate in 24-hour rotational coverage including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent education (certificate of completion in respiratory care)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in respiratory care at a general or acute care hospital
• Current, valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current, valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any U.S. state, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory
• Current, valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a referral or regional health care setting serving diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient/ambulatory respiratory care environments
