General Ultrasound Technologist – Echo / Ultrasound / Sonographer

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations with a daily caseload that varies based on facility needs
• Demonstrate proficiency in abdominal Doppler imaging and transplant sonography
• Float between main campus and additional facility locations within scope of practice to meet operational needs
• Document and chart patient imaging data accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as directed during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required
• South Carolina state ultrasound licensure is not required
• No radiation badge required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital, or Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
