Job Title

EEG Technologist – Inpatient (Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics)

Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Holidays required as needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine EEGs, long-term monitoring (LTM), continuous EEG, and EMU procedures on both adult and pediatric inpatient populations
• Conduct live monitoring of LTM, EMU, and SEEG patients, rotating between monitoring responsibilities and patient hook-ups
• Perform wire maintenance, EMU daily activations, and LTM skin checks at bedside
• Support epilepsy surgery procedures including SEEG, Cortical Mapping, WADA, and SPECTs with EEG Technologist bedside presence
• Float between adult and pediatric hospital locations as operationally needed
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November), as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of EEG Technologist experience required
• Experience in adult ICU, adult EMU, pediatric ICU, and pediatric EMU settings required
• R. EEG T. (Registered EEG Technologist) certification required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CLTM (Certified Long-Term Monitoring) certification preferred
• Experience in a comprehensive epilepsy center or stroke center environment
• Familiarity with SEEG, Cortical Mapping, WADA, and SPECT procedures
