Physical Therapist – Hand Therapy Specialist

Portland, OR | Outpatient

Contract | Days | 5×8 Hours, Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized hand therapy services across two outpatient clinic locations (Portland and Beaverton)
- Perform custom splint fabrication for patients with a variety of hand conditions
- Evaluate and treat patients with complex hand trauma and post-surgical diagnoses
- Document patient care and progress accurately using Epic EMR
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) state license — valid Oregon license preferred at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hand therapy
- BLS certification (AHA Traditional card required; RQI not accepted)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required to submit
- Must achieve a score of 85% or higher on required Relias competency exams
- No new graduates accepted; first-time travelers welcome
- Locals welcome; same rates apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential strongly preferred
- Expert-level proficiency in custom splinting techniques
- Experience managing complex hand trauma and surgical rehabilitation cases
