Job Title
Laboratory Technician or Technologist (MLT / MLS / Clinical Lab Scientist)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Day/Evening Shift | Nights and weekends included in workweek | On-call availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare specimens and operate automated analyzers
- Evaluate test results and perform manual tests following detailed instructions
- Work across all areas of the laboratory, including Microbiology and Immunohematology
- Responsible for laboratory quality control, proficiency testing, and Quality Assurance
- Participate in facility performance improvement projects
- Work independently in an on-call capacity without direct supervision
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- ASCP certification or equivalent required
- Licensure in the State of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist required
- Knowledge of CLIA, compliance, and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work cooperatively with all departments and productively without supervision
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in all areas of the laboratory, including Microbiology and Immunohematology
- Proficiency with laboratory computers, specialized analyzers, and equipment
- Familiarity with laboratory budgeting practices
- Experience researching and setting up new laboratory procedures
