MRI Technician

Contract | Days | Three 12-hour shifts, tentatively 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with some schedule flexibility available
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, identifying and reporting any technical issues
- Review and assess image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent required
- Current state licensure or registration as required
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume MRI environment
- Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and imaging protocols
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
