Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography and related cardiac ultrasound studies in accordance with facility protocols
- Operate and maintain echo/ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Collaborate with clinical and radiology staff to ensure accurate and timely results
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotation of weekend and holiday shifts with hospital staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Echo Tech experience
- Active RDCS or RCS credential (or equivalent recognized echo/cardiac sonography certification)
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Availability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff
- Compliance with facility dress code (Radiology – Black scrubs)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with high-volume or fast-paced cardiac imaging environments
- Experience working within HCA or similarly structured health systems
