Job Title
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Contract (14 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and goals
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout all treatment sessions
- Must present a valid state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times while on site
Required Qualifications
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
- Staffing agency must maintain an active New Mexico caregivers account
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a structured team environment
